Do you shoot alone?
I'm very proud to say that I do shoot alone. Why? You know exactly what you're going to get. The photos in my portfolio are my photographs, and this is the caliber of work you will receive.
I could hire 2 or 3 photographers or hire my husband or a friend who do not have any experience, training or the same style as me but I do not. This is a true profession, and you should know who you are going to commission on one of the most important days of your life. You cannot redo this day!
You will receive 17 years of experience in photography. The key is knowing how a wedding operates and what is important to people. I know where to be, how to organize myself for your day, and what to capture. I have experience with shooting in high stress situations, unpredictable weather and lighting situations...
How many images do we receive?
I don't have any limit on the number of photos I deliver to my clients. Any photo that meets my standards from a quality perspective gets edited and included in the final product that I deliver to you. Even seemingly insignificant photos in my eyes can mean the world to my clients so I like to deliver as many quality photos as I can. I shoot continuously, ie, the time is not broken up. If your day involves less or no driving, you might receive more - but if you plan to drive a lot, then you'll receive less. I pride in Quality over Quantity.
That being said, you will be receiving an edited version of every good photo I take, I am not going to cut a photo from your gallery to meet a set number ... I am working to capture all the special moments that will still mean the world to you 10, 20, 30 years from now...
Your photos will be delivered to you through a beautiful online gallery that will allow you to download and share your photos. The gallery also features a built-in store which provides you with the opportunity to create your own custom wedding album and order a variety a prints and products from a professional photo lab. This gallery makes viewing your photos effortless and enables you to easily send your photos to family and friends.
How far in advance should we book?
Wedding season (May - September) books on average 10 to 15 months in advance. This sounds like a long time, but when planning for one of the most incredible days ever, this is the perfect amount of time to plan, chat, build a connection with your photographer, capture your engagement session, and so much more ... a year will pass by in the blink of an eye!
