I have spent many years striving to create a unique atmosphere
and beautiful experience for my clients.
I love a classic clean edit topped off with a gentle matte finish.
The locations I choose are usually right on my own private property or somewhere close by.
In my opinion, the more rustic and overgrown the location is, the better!
I love long grass, old forgotten roads, wild flowers our beautiful rivers...
I enjoy playing with light and make it an important part of choosing session times and locations. Some locations are best first thing in the morning, others are better with sunset lighting. I create simple sets where props are minimal - making sure the focus is completely on you and your family! My studio and office space are located in my home -
I live on an acreage just five miles from the town of Peace River.
Recently I have switched from Canon dslr to Canon mirrorless photography.
My favourite lenses to pack around are my primes (35mm 50mm and 85mm)
but love my 24-70mm and 70-200mm for certain session settings as well.
I use a the Paul C Buff Einstein flash unit as my main lighting source in the studio.
